Mr. Naunihal Singh, a man born in a simple working class family, studied Medical, started on the route of being a Medical Rep and went on to make one of India's fastest growing wellness brands "Strands".

Naunihal Singh believes in Haunsla Buland, in 2005, started the flagship salon at sector 35 in Chandigarh followed by Strands' first store in technical collaboration with Matrix. He started working on expansion and opened the first franchise outlet in Patiala, but soon realised the importance of the challenges a franchise arrangement offers. He brought Clara International to develop skilled manpower for his ambitious projects. He gives numerous training and development sessions by international experts of Matrix to Team Strands to get them tuned to the very best happening in the trade globally.

The company, today, has its presence in 9 states with 42 outlets. Strands is a Wella partner now and offers three different categories of salons- Strands Lounge, Strands Studio and Strands Salon-n-Spa and has Strands Academy for training of skilled professionals. Strands, today, is a team of approx.500 employees and 30 franchisees.
